You can use an OEM version if it installs (ie if it isn't tied to a specific manufacturer's hardware), and you can temporarily set up Internet access to activate it, or use the telephone option, of reinstall it every 30 days. You will get more reliable answers by experiment, and the risk is just the time you spend installing (or trying to install) it.
