Big problems with Vista and can't reinstall tools

please try to repair your Windows Installation if possible:
1. Open the virtual machine configuration.
2. Click the CD/DVD-ROM option to open its settings.
3. Make sure that "Emulation" is set to "Use CD/DVD-ROM".
4. Click the "Options" menu on the left side of Configuration Editor.
5. Choose the "Booting" tab and set "Boot Sequence" to "CD-ROM, Hard Disk, Floppy".
6. Click "OK" to close Configuration Editor.
7. Insert Windows installation disk into your Mac CD/DVD drive.
8. Start the virtual machine.
9. Windows should ask you to press any key to boot from the CD - click inside the VM window to capture input and press any key.
10. Windows Setup should start loading, wait till it loads completely then press Enter (Return) key.
11. Press F8 (or Fn+F8 on the Macbook keyboard) to accept Windows License Agreement.
12. Now Windows should scan your VM for the exisitng Windows installation - wait till it finishes and choose to repair existing installation.
13. Wait for the repair operation to finish.
14. Try starting Windows again. Re-install Parallels Tools .

Is it possible to provide me with a minidump file?
I need all content from the %SystemRoot%\Minidump (usually C:\Windows\Minidump).

Ok, I will try to repair Vista, but will doing this erase any of my files there? I can't attach minidump file, it says it's invalid.

repairing Vista should not affect your files.
Could you please create a zip file with this minidump file?

do you use a bootcamped Vista?
Do you have a Parallels sign in tray of your taskbar (near time message)?

I've tried all of this, I don't use bootcamped vista, I have an parallels icon in my vista system tray. When I reinstall tools, it wont let me boot vista, so i choose go to last good configuration and then I have all the same problems again. What should i do now?
 
Please right-click on 'Computer' icon, select 'Properties' and tell me if it is written about Service pack there.

Ok, so sometimes Vista tells me that Parallels tools must close. So I installed MacFuse, then I uninstalled/reinstalled Parallels Tools and when I restart Vista I get the same blue screen. So I pick, "choose last known good configuration" and I'm back to square one with the same problems, what now?

please open 'Configuration Editor' of your VM ('Edit' -> 'Virtual Machine') -> 'Memory' tab. Increase 'Video memory' there and set 'Memory' to 512. Reboot your Mac. Try to start Vista. Then click 'Actions' -> 'Install Parallels Tools'. What will happen?

Well it is working somewhat, but I'm still having the initial problem that got me into this mess. Menu options don't highlight when I drag the mouse on them. Should I increase video memory more or will this foul up the settings?

Also, when I'm using coherence mode and using two monitors and I want to drag a vista window to my second monitor, it won't let me, it thinks I want to copy something there. Is there any way I can do this to use the 2 displays?
