bigger monitor

Hi, all. I'm rather new to Parallels but I have successfully installed Ubuntu Linux into a VM on my 24" iMac. The only problem is the display is too small at 800 x 600. I have 1920 x 1200 in the physical display. How can I make it bigger?

By the way, I tried to install the Parallels Tools. The result was ...
