I am running a Windows 7 Professional VM under Parallels Desktop 10 and Yosemite(10.10.2), on a late 2011 MacBook Pro, normally with very satisfactory behaviour. However, a few days ago an alert appeared in Windows 7 recommending that I update the BIOS on my PC. Since, as I understand it, the PC BIOS functionality is shared between the Mac's boot ROM and Parallels Desktop, I assume that this issue (if it is significant at all) could be fixed by an update to Parallels Desktop. Is such an update "in the works" or is the issue insignificant?
