Bitlocker Bootcamp Compatibility

    One large security weakness for Parallels & Bootcamp is that we cannot utilize Bitlocker to encrypt the drive without losing parallels access to the drive. As of now, we have to find a way to encrypt specific folders which has more vulnerabilities. I would love to see parallels find a way to support bootcamp encrypted with bit locker.

    Hi @trebuin, unfortunately, we don't have access to Mac's T2 chip (which is TPM for Windows in Boot Camp) so we can't support encrypted Boot Camp via VM.
    But, the good news is that we've added virtual TPM support in Parallels Desktop 15 so you can encrypt an ordinary virtual machine separately (imported Boot Camp or a new VM), see this article: https://kb.parallels.com/122702
