Block VM using internet settings, suggestions, and why graphics limited?

I'm running Mac Leopard, and have installed Parallels, it's great, but it does not support any parental settings, IE, i've set on my Mac, that only 'allowed' sites can be visited in safari etc...

I know you can't enforce that in windows, but I am wondering if there is a way to 'completely' block Parallels from accessing the internet, that cannot be changed (either protected by security, or it's own parental control section), I would like to 'disallow' all internet connections for the Windows XP partition that I have.

I also have several suggestions, such as (the above included.. having parental controls, that either require the administrators password, or one that you can specify in Parallels), being able to change where Parallels store the snapshots for 'SmartGuard' since my main HD does not have enough space, but I have a secondary 1TB hd I'd like to use...

and I'd like to know why in Age of Empires III TAD for example, I can not set 'Shader' to Very High (can be set to 'High' only), and I can not set any AA?

Anyone know anything regarding my question? and perhaps direct me to a forum for suggestions if this is the wrong place.

Christopher Searson,

1) I would suggest setting up a firewall on the Windows side, or even some Windows-based parental control software.
2) SmartGuard is not customizable.
3) It is a limitation of the virtualized video card, it does not support all the video card features yet.

Hi Flagg,

1) Unfortunately that's not an option for me, I have Visual Studio 2008 IDE on Windows, therefore you could create a web browser in 2 minutes, and have full internet access (even parental control software only blocks known browsers, from what I've used), and you can't develop software properly on a limited account.
2) ah ok, I might have to just somehow transfer my hard drive from the smaller one, to the larger one
3) ah I see, ok, so it's normal
