I had BT turned off in the mac. I was using my mac with an active parallels session running in the background. I used the mac till it went to sleep due to low battery. Later the mac hybernated. When I powered the mac back up by attaching power cable, the parallels session of Windows says that there was a USB failure. And for some reason the mac's BT now tells me it is unavailable. It seems that I have to restart the mac to get BT back.
