Bootcamp VM in both Parallels and Fusion?

I'm wondering if, for testing purposes, I can run Bootcamp-based VMs in both Parallels and VMWare's Fusion at the same time (not literally, but sequentially, one after the other--run the Parallels version, do some timings, then close it down and run the Fusion version, do the same timings again).

I have them both set up on my iMac, but I haven't tried to run them in sequence. In fact, I've only run the last one I set up (Parallels) and haven't gone back to run the Fusion version.

What effect if any will this have on activation of Windows? I've got it activated in Parallels Bootcamp now. What happens if I CLOSE DOWN Parallels and run Fusion Bootcamp?

as i right understood when you loading under Parallels you activating your Windows copy and then when you loading under Fusion it ask you to activate again? It's normal behavior because Windows activation procedure binds to hardware environment and if you try to startup Windows that was activated at one environment under another one then it'll be broken (Parallels and VMware provides own hardware emulation scheme). Parallels has it's own mechanizm that storing activation data that was got while guest OS working at special place on work finishing and restoring it when Parallels startup guest OS. So it's not necessary activating your Windows copy every time when you working with bootcamp Windows under Parallels. I guess VMware has similar mech too so try to activate WIndows one time under Parallels and one time under VMware and then you won't have such issues.
