I've started getting "Winlogon.exe" "Invalid image" errors when I start up my Windows XP VM on a MacBook Pro.
The recommended fix was to boot from the XP install disk and do a repair.
I think I'm doing things right. I get the "Press ENTER to boot from CD"; I press the ENTER key ; then the DOS/WINDOWS console goes completely black. The Parallels process eventually uses over 100% of one of my CPUs. I end up having to kill Parallels.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm using Parallels Desktop for Mac build 3214 and Mac OS X 10.4.10.
Thanks - Richard
