I sent this to beta@parallels.com, and I haven't gotten a reply back yet.

I'm having trouble using my printer within Parallels for Mac Build 3150 (RC2). Every time I access the printer, Windows XP gives me a BSOD and reboots. (I haven't tried using any of the earlier beta releases). Here is detailed information on the problem:

My computer is an iMac Core 2 Duo 2 GHz, 17" screen, with ATI Radeon X1600 graphics, 2 GB RAM, and a 160 GB hard drive. The printer is a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 1320.

Parallels is set up as follows:

Adjust reserved memory automatically (slider is at 1628 MB)
    Do not remap keys

The Virtual Machine is set up as follows:

OS: Windows XP Professional, SP2, with all updates (including IE7), updated to the latest Parallels Tools (build 3150)
Advanced options: Acceleration level (High), Intel VT-x support enabled, hard disk cache policy for better performance of virtual machine
1024 MB of main memory, 16 MB of video memory
    Floppy drive enabled
    80000 MB expandable hard drive
    Network Adapter 1: Bridged Ethernet
USB Controller set to Autoconnect On.

    The error displayed in the BSOD is: *** STOP: 0x000000c5 (0x068642DD, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x8054B339)

When Windows reboots, the Error signature reported in the "Report Error to Microsoft" dialog box is:

    BCCode: 100000c5 BCP1: 068642DD BCP2: 00000002 BCP3: 00000001 BCP4: 8054B339
    OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 2_0 Product: 256_1

I sent the sysdata.xml and Mini020207-02.dmp files generated by Windows during the BSOD to the beta@parallels.com address.

This problem is completely reproducible, and is a showstopper for me because I have to be able to print.

In the meantime, I can revert to build 1970 and use that.

    Anyone else with this problem?

Please explain when exactly it crashed?
Did you install any printer driver?

I installed the printer drivers that came with the printer in Windows.

The crash happens when I press the "Print" button, after I'm done with the Page Setup dialog, and it happens consistently every time. Sometimes the printer manages to print first, and then the BSOD happens, but mostly it's when the computer starts sending data to the printer.

I even tried it with a fresh reinstall of Windows XP with nothing else installed except Parallels Tools and the printer driver, but it does the same thing.

Anyone else having this issue with Build 3150 and an HP LaserJet 1320?
