There is a display bug in the final initial release which is still present in the new beta.

On this screen :

The size of the disk doesn't mean anything.
The disk is a dynamically expanding with a size of 60000 MB.
The actual file on Mac OS disk is around 11000 MB.
And the actual "used sized" reported by the Windows XP installed in that disk is around 10500 MB.

So what is this 2957 MB mentionned here ?
My guess would be a math overflow error while computing large disk sizes.

That info is totally useless as it is always wrong. I have to static (non-expanding) disks, so it should be really simple. One is 16GB and the other is 8GB. The reported sizes are something like 400KB and 4MB (not exact because I can't look with the VM running). It would just be one quicj system cal to get the size of the file from disk, but I guess that's too hard, so until Parallels fixes it you'll just have to use ls yourself.

I think I figured out what that means. It's the remaining free space in the file. Mine states about 4GB even though the disk is 15GB and the physical file size is 11GB. Either way, it's whacked.
