Bug with edit.exe

Hy.

My VM complete hang when i do the following in a Windows XP SP2 (German) Machine:

- Open the CMD.exe
- Start edit.exe to modify any textfile
- go down a few lines with arrow down key

Now my VM completly hangs. So the only solution is to reset or power down the VM.

Any hints?

I´m running RC2 on a Macbook Pro 1,83 with 1,5GB RAM

VM has 512MB

Also my MBP has 10-20% utilization when my VM is idle!?
 
I have a client who has to work in 'dos' to access an ancient foxpro database on a remote drive. Same result - the command environment crawls to a halt and I have to reboot. In the end I'm having to go with bootcamp.

Oh. running XP pro on a dual core iMac 20" with 1GB ram
 
Same-ish result here. cmd itself seems fine, but 'edit' grinds to a halt very quickly. 5~20 seconds for characters to appear. However, I'm able to close the cmd window (well, it doesn't go without a fight, XP needs to force it to quit), and retain use of the VM at least.

Blackbook 2GHz, 2GB ram, XP Pro SP2 VM with 512MB ram allocated.
