Build 4560: Tools installation crashes XPpro

    Hi,

    installing the tools on my XPPro SP2 results in a blue screen of death crash. I have uninstalled the previous build tools, to no avail.

    I have reported this to Parallels too.

    MacBookPro/10.4.10

    You might try deleting the two .plist files associated with parallels. I think this worked for me (it is hard to say as the crash was bad, tried several things).

    Thanks for the suggestion, didn't work however. I can run the VM with no tools installed, so that will have to do for now.

    Please try to uncheck "Share Mac application to Windows" in Configuration->Shared Applications
