Build 9344 - .pst File Issue from External Storage

I ungraded earlier to 9344 and could not access .pst files stored on the Mac storage. This is message "out of memory or system resources'. I have not seen a fix to this addressed, is there a setting to make this happen or do I revert to an earlier release?
