Hi, I bought a || v5 license a few years ago and doesn't want to upgrade (i have many other things i plan to buy before even thinking of it), but the point is that building || tools v5 for kernels higher than 2.6.X fails , which is quite a big deal cuz i can't get proper a X resolution. SO my question is: is there a patch ( official or not ) that fixes the compilation errors, so i can build the v5 tools with linux 3.x sources/headers ? i just want a yes/no answer, if no i'll patch it myself. Regards, W.
I've never seen a v5 patch. I previously patched Parallels 6 to work on Chakra with 2.6.39 (and it also worked with 3.0.x). For what little it may be worth, you can see my patch in this thread: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=111092 Good luck.
