Can a program on one virtual machine (XP SP3) "find" another program on a different VM (Win 10)

I am running Peachtree Accounting 2011 on an XP SP3 VM on my iMAC. I want to migrate to Quickbooks Online. To do this, I need to run a Quicken Conversion Tool for the Peachtree data. The Conversion Tool requires that both Peachtree and a Trial Version of Quickbooks Desktop be installed on the same computer. Here's the problem: Peachtree will only run on XP and the Quickbooks Trial will only run on Win 10. I installed a Win 10 VM so everything is on my iMac. If I install the Conversion Toll on the XP side, I get an error that says you need to install Quickbooks. If I install the Tool on the Win 10 side, the error says I need to install Peachtree. Is there any way to set this up so that the Conversion Tool can find both programs and convert the data. (I don't think the conversion tool need to "run" either program; it just needs to verify that they are installed. (All programs are either licensed or trial versions)
