Can anyone help me reverse my mistake?

I had two xp VMs on my parallels setup (I don't know how or why), so whenever I started Parallels, I had to select the desired virtual machine. I only use one, so I decided to remove the other.

What happened is now that one is gone, and the other can't find the HD image. I've looked in my trash folder, but see nothing like this.

Am I out of luck, or might the image be somewhere else? I don't want to install everything again!

Please help if you can!

Go to your user directory, library parallels

If you haven't deleted it, it should be in that folder.

Or, use spotlight and look for .hdd and write down the path to it. Then, in either case, configure Parallels to use the .hdd path you found.

This is a great example of posting on a website before activating brain. While out walking my dog, I remembered that I back everything up. A quick restore, and all is well. Sorry for the panic posting.

Now, I've still got two different environments on startup. How do I delete one (or make it so that I don't see the un-necessary VM) without deleting everything?

Interestingly, I can't find any .HDD files anywhere (except for what I restored). I guess when Parallels deletes something, it does a secure delete. I'm in no way too short on disk space, so that isn't an issue.
