First time posting: I'm running a virtual Mac OS 10.12.6 Sierra on Parallels 15. The app store on the Guest Mac OS dock says Sierra has system updates (security, safari, etc). Should I try to download and install these updates from the virtual machine? Will that work? Or should I not bother with the updates? Thanks for your advice. (If it matters, I'm working on getting my 32 bit Adobe cs6 apps running within the virtual Sierra, while running Catalina as my main OS. So far they're running well.)
Yes, you can download and install system updates for Mac OS 10.12.6 Sierra virtual machine which provides new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes, and those fixes often remedy security vulnerabilities to protect you from potential threats.
