Can I just stick with Parallels Desktop 17

I'm on 18 and it's saying my old perpetual license key won't work. Can I downgrade to 17 and use my existing key? I don't want to spend more money if at all possible (shoestring operation here!).

Thank you for your feedback.
Please follow the steps below to downgrade :
1. Quit Parallels Desktop (Click on the Parallels Icon on top of the Mac menu bar > Select Quit Parallels Desktop)
2. Download and install Parallels Desktop 17 from the link below:
https://download.parallels.com/desktop/v17/17.1.7-51588/ParallelsDesktop-17.1.7-51588.dmg
3. You will be prompted to upgrade to Parallels Desktop's latest version > Just close the Window > Select "No, use current" > Enter your Mac password.
4. After installation, you shall have Parallels Desktop 17 which should be activated with your PD17 perpetual license key.
