can i use the same key on imac and macbook?

i have a question.
i have a macbook for my school work and im thinking about getting parallel desktop so i can use windows at the same time
but can i also use the key my imac (that i am getting for my birthday)

or can i have some kind of studen discount?

I'm afraid you would need to purchase a new commercial license for the second Parallels Desktop installation (according to Parallels Licensing Policy). I would also suggest you to check whether you qualify for the Student discount here:
