    Hi there,

2X application server needs to be installed on a Terminal Server, ie win2000, win 2003, win 2008.

    XP pro as terminal server

I am not sure if you can use the 2X application server combined with XP Pro. I am sure though that you cabn use the 2X Thin Client Terminal Server PXES in combination with a XP Pro. You may turn your XP pro into a poor man's terminal server by following the following guideline:

    http://sig9.com/articles/concurrent-remote-desktop

After that install the 2X PXES thin client server and you're al set.

If you are using a XP Pro as a server (no other servers in your network) you need a DHCP server too, You can download one here:

What do you mean by concurrent? With the above solution you can run multiple sessions (different user names) on 1 XP-box and you can manage these sessions with the 2X terminal server solution.

    - install xp pro
    - make it multiple remote session ready (see link above)
    - install 2X thin client server PXES (Free)
    - install DHCP server on XP (see link above)
    - boot clients through PXE (network) boot
    - manage clients with 2X
    - tighten security through gpedit.msc (grou policy editor) so users cannot screw up your config (prevent access to local drives, regedit, command prompt)
    - move gpedit.msc away from the "server" (put it on a USB-stick) so users may not be tempted to experiment

Still not sure what you are trying to accomplish though.....
