Can install windows via PXE; F12 problem

I'm trying to create a Windows VM from our network using PXE. I've created a VM and told parallels that it will be a Windows system. I then set the boot order in the configuration file so that the network card is first.

The problem is F12. I have to hit F12 to enable the PXE boot. F12 does not seem to be working. I try the key on the keyboard, and I try it from the menu.

Does anyone have any experience or can tell me how to do this?

Problem solved. You have to really make sure the mouse and keyboard focus is correct. It took me a few tried but I eventually got it.
