Can the foreground OS get the DVD 1st?

This is my first post to the Parallels Forums (I tried earlier today but it didn't post).
In the thread Auto-Detect (http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=20851)
you had mentioned:

When Parallels Desktop is running in the left bottom panel you can see CD icon, click on it and select disconnect

Parallels was not in the foreground, the Mac OS Finder was. I had inserted a DVD but the DVD Player did not launch, neither did the Finder recognize that a DVD was there. I brought Parallels to the foreground and noticed that Vista had launched a browser with a window asking what to do about the DVD. Vista had recognized the DVD, but the Mac OS had not. I ejected the DVD from Vista, shutdown Vista, reinserted the DVD, and the Mac OS recognized it and launched the DVD player.
Would it be possible to have the Auto-Detect feature allow Vista to get 1st crack at the DVD if Parallels is in the foreground, but allow the Mac OS 1st crack at the DVD if the Mac OS is in the foreground?
I have a 2.8 iMac, latest OS, latest Parallel build, Vista Ultimate

Actually it depends on fact what is setting for CD/DVD-rom, if it is connected to CD/DVD-rom Windows Catch DVD, however, you can just click on that icon and select disconnect, and Mac will handle it, feature you want, is technically possible but very complex to realize, and I am not sure that this will be demand for most people
