Cannot access mac folders from windows

hey!
It was way smooth before before update and now its eating my head because i cannot access mac folders from windows. I can only access windows and some parts of documents. How can i resolve it?

Please reinstall Parallels Tools and check the behaviour. If it doesn't work, please follow this article.

 

Why do i need the parallel tools? I didn't get your point.

 

Thanks for the article. I did follow the same steps which is provided in the second option in the article. But i still have the same problem.
