Cannot boot up Snow Leopard

I have a mac running snow leopard and I have the DVD for it.

I first created a dmg file from the DVD then I made a .cdr file from it. For both when I start a vm it flashes the black screen and does not start up.

For one I get an "invalid mac os version is specified, mac os X vm can only have the max os x server leopard operating system installed."

Is there no support for snow leopard?

Hi tokyoo,

Parallels only support the server versions of Mac OS X, so it is not possible for you to install the "normal" version of Snow Leopard.

Hi,
Actually, it is not a Parallels. This limitation is due to license of Apple. As soon as Apple's license will allow running Client-version, Parallels will allow this too.
