I can only get the bridged networking to work. If I choose Shared, the IP address changes from my local network,192.168.x.x to a 10.x.x.x address. Do you have any trouble shooting tips for that? I am running hte latest build of Parallels 4 and Windows XP. Hardware is a Macbook Pro

I'm having the exact same issue, though these instructions did not work for me. I have 5 various virtual machines running various versions of Windows, and Shared Networking does not work for any of them.
