Cannot install certain games

So far:

Civilization 3
D&D Character Builder

both have some kind of error when I try to install. It seems to be trying to access a "network drive" it doesn't have authorization to (I think its my Mac Boot disc).

How do I fix this?

Could you let us know what is the error that you get when you try to install. If possible try to send a screen shot of that error messsage.
