Cannot open up Powerpoint presentation on my mac desktop

I used to be able to do this as of last week - but I just tried to open up a powerpoint presentation that's saved on my Mac desktop, and I'm not seeing the file on my Parallels desktop.

When I try to open the file from within Powerpoint, I get the following error message:

"Sorry, we couldn't find '\\Mac\Home\Desktop\[file name].pptx'. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?"

Can you please tell me how to fix this? Thanks.

Hi, just for check, did you share your Windows and Mac files/folders?
If yes, plz, reinstall parallels tools and check once again this issue.

Hi, I have the exact same issue of the hidden PPT file. After checking all the menu commands of Powerpoint, I click the "rearrange all" under the Window menu, and everything is fine now. Looks like this is a small bug that really exists when you connect to the 2nd monitor or projector.

I was facing this issue for many days... Thanks for the info, it solves the issue.

James
