Cannot shutdown Win XP in Parallels 5

Since updating to Snow leopard 9.6.2 Virtual Win XP in Parallels 5 will not shut down completely.
Will have to do a force quit.
Any ideas what is going on?
 
I wouldn't Force Quit parallels 5 with a VM running, I'm not sure of the consequences.
Perhaps if absolutely necessary, click Stop under the Virtual Machine context menu, that should prompt you to instantly stop/shutdown the VM, I'm not sure if you lose any data or not.
