I have a larger 2nd display connected to my laptop and want to run that monitor completely for my client VM.

The secondary monitor is on the top, laptop monitor on the bottom, and my MENU bar is on the bottom monitor (this appears to be why the app won't move to secondary screen). https://img.skitch.com/20120227-cchrw93u893d3aqc8rj6adm7h.png

I have the following settings configured in Parallels for the Client: Options -> Full Screen -> [Disabled - Use Full Screen, Disabled - Use All Displays in Full screen].

The problem is when I start Parallels, I cannot drag the window to the secondary monitor. Even if I start Spaces (in Lion 10.7.3), I cannot drag the Parallels client window to the secondary monitor. All other windows/apps on the system can be dragged to the secondary monitor but NOT parallels.

The only way I can get Parallels into the secondary monitor is to go into Display -> Arrangement -> Move my Top Display (secondary display) to the bottom.

Now, since the Menu Bar is at the top, I can freely drag the Parallels window to the top screen. Once the parallels screen gets dragged to the top window, I can swap the arrangement back.

This workaround is fine, but the problem is that when I disconnect the secondary monitor (almost daily), I have to redo this whole process.
