Canon printer won't work since installing Parallels 5

Was running Parallels 4 and Windows Vista. I have a network printer (which works fine with windows7/parallels and OSX. However since intalling windows7/parallels 5, My canon printer hooked up to USB does not work. "Devices" shows it to be present. Windows7/control panel shows the printer, but printing a test page or anything else does not work. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer; no dice.

Any suggestions for this USB printer
 
I'd use the default Parallels printer driver (a HP 8500 I believe) which routes its output to whatever printer you've connected to the Mac.
