Can't access my Apple account from Parallels Lite El-Capitan

I have a virtual OS X El Capitan machine running in Parallels Lite. If I try to access my iCloud account, I get the message "You cannot sign in to iCloud because there was a problem verifying the identity of this Mac." Does that mean that I cannot access my account via the virtual machine, or is there some way I can verify the Mac?
 
Yes: I can reach my account via Safari within the VM. I then tried again to set up my account via Preferences, but got the same verify message.
