I tried installing/running synthmaker (www.synthmaker.com) but I can't get any audio out of it. The Parallels audio icon indicates that sound is available. I tried playing an MP3 through Windows media player and that worked fine. Anyone know whether this is (a) a known problem with Parallels 2.x and (b) if so, whether it has been fixed in 3.0? Thanks, D
Hello dhjdhj You can try free trial version of Parallels Desktop 3.0. And don't forget to backup your VM first.
I'm quite happy to BUY the upgrade to 3.0 if it will solve the problem. I also wanted to know whether 3.0 would run the train simulator from Auran and nobody seemed to know that either. It's my understanding that switching to 3.0 is not reversable because it changes the underlying files so I didn't want to install it without knowing whether it would work. (Yes, I know I could go through the whole backup process, etc but I didn't want to spend the time unless I had some sense that it was worth the pain) D
