Can't get XP service pack 2 to download fully

Hello everyone
i am a new user of parallels software and i seem to get the gist of it.
I am running Mac OSX 10.4.11 and i just bought a brandnew version of Parallels here online.
I bought Parallels so i could run the program SolidWorks on it. it seems though that i need
windows Service pack 2 in order to install SolidWorks. I went to Microsoft.com (in my VM)
to update my software and as its downloading SP2 i get and error message quite a bit of time into it.
Heres the error message:

Update.exe- Application error
The instruction at "0x77f59526" referenced memory at "0xfffffff8". The memory could not be "read".
click ok to terminate the program


I clicked okay and then tried running it again and got this message this time

Update.exe- Application error
The instruction at "0x77f82759" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
click ok to terminate the program

Help?!?!? I need this program for my Engineering class here at college.

I suppose either VM is infected or antivirus prevents installation,
Try to download full package instead of using Windows update
