Can't install Office XP..

    I found out my copy of Home XP was an upgrade, so I'm using m uncles Office XP Small Business... but boot from cd failed press any key ... but the Home xp disc works

    or am I a total idiot and is this Office XP microsoft office and one of the 100 different versions of XP..

    Actually I just read that you can't use Office XP... umm is there any way I could DL a windows 98 or 95 and use that then upgrade? And how would I do that?

    Um. dude.
    Windows is the operating system.
    Office is a suite of productivity software.
    hopefully by now you found a copy of Win98SE or Windows 2000 (Windows Millennium Edition is not upgradeable to XP) and used that to upgrade to XP.
