Can't launch Excel from Mac OS(windows app link is not working)

Hello.
I've been using Parallels 9 for several years without an issue, but recently I've encountered a bug when a particular application(Excel) can't be started from Mac OS(10.9.5). Clicking on the app link created by Parallels does nothing. If I try to drug and drop xls file on the app link an error massage "The application can't be opened -1712" pops up. And at the same time Excel can be started directly from guest OS(Windows 7 SP1). I have already tried deleting virtual machine's folder from Applications (Parallels) folder and un-checking and then checking back the "Share Windows applications with Mac" checkbox with no success whatsoever, the application links were recreated but for some reason Excel still can't be launched from Mac OS.

Could somebody please help me?
