Cant Load External Drive

I've never posted on this forum before so somebody correct me if im doing this wrong or if I should do this in a different place.

I have a external hard drive (western digital) and ever since I installed parallels I havnt been able to get the hard drive to show up on the mac side. Before I upgraded to Parallels 4.0 the drive would show up on the windows side, but now it wont show up on either. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how to fix this.

If you are connecting drive as USB device file system should be either NTFS, or FAT32
You can connect drive as Shared Folder from Configure - Shared Folders, in this case File system is not the issue, till it is recognized by Mac OS itself, do npt forget to select map shared folders to drive letters, for easiness
