Can't NOT Install Parallels Tools

I've got a couple of Linux OS's that I've installed in Parallels, but I want to insulate my machine from them as much as possible, to mitigate any potential harm that might come from the research I'm doing. I have tried a variety of things to stop the Update Parallels Tools silliness from coming up every time I log in/boot, but I haven't stumbled upon the solution, yet.

Hello new-nickname

You can do this :
rename the file /usr/lib/parallels-tools/installer/ptiagent32 or ptiagent64

Bye
