Can't remove the old Parallels Tool !!

Hi,

After upgrading to Parallels Desktop 4.0 for Mac, it installed the new Parallels Tools.
However, my old Parallels Tools (from 3.0) still in the system, but can't be removed from the "Add and Remove Programs" in Control Panel. Apparently, there are two "Parallels Tools" were installed in the "Add and Remove Programs" windows. When tried to remove the old "Parallels Tools", it complained with the following error:

Parallels Tools require that your windows is running under Virtual Machine. The installation will be stopped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm stuck at the same place with Parallels Tools 3 showing up in the Add/Remove window with no way of removing it. I think this is interfering with the installation and/or operation of Tools 4. After multiple removals and installations I am still unable to open Parallels Tools even though it says it's installed. Did you get a resolution on the problem when you posted here?
