cant run bootcamp 1.3 vista with paralles

Bit poster
every time i try, the system hangs right after the login screen.
after reinstalling, deleting, and rereinstalling, still the same.
using macbook pro 17" C2D (2.33) with 2G ddr2, bootcamp 1.3 and paralles 3, vista ultimate with all the updates.

VMware Fusion works great, but no Drag and Drop like with paralles.

please help
