Running El Capitan in Parallels, on a machine running Catalina. Even though I have Shared Network selected in Configuration other computers on my network seldom show up. If they do and I try to connect, as soon as I enter my password, the other cpu vanishes from the listed machines.

How can I get the network to work 'normally' in Parallels?

@Hagioscope. Hi, Please try to uninstall(on finder > Applications > Parallels Tools > right click and uninstall) and reinstall(start virtual machine > on Mac menu > Actions >reinstall Parallels Tools) the Parallels tools and check if it works.

There is no Parallels Tools in my Applications. I did find Reinstall Parallels Tools in the Paralleles Actions menu but I can't see that it did anything. Certainly nothing changed and I'm continuing with the same network issue. Am I missing an application that should be installed wit Parallels?
