Can't see USB Drive

Hello Folks,

I have the latest version of Yosemite (OS X 10.9.5) running under Parallels 9.0.24251


I can't for the life of me get my external drive partitions to show up in this guest copy of Yosemite. They show up in my main MAC OS but not the Guest OS. Additionally, when I hit DEVICES - EXTERNAL DEVICES and the choose the USB drive, the drives disappear from the Host OS but never appear in the guest OS. Thoughts?

Hi Vachaj,

Please follow the steps mentioned below to install Parallels tools and see how it goes.

1. Start guest virtual machine.
2. Select "Virtual Machine" from top Mac menu bar.
3. Select (re)install Parallels tools.
4. Restart virtual machine and check how it works.
