Can't seem to use Vista with Coherence Mode

I've just installed the trial of Parallels 3.0 in my MBP to evaluate it.
I'm using Vista off my Boot Camp partition and and trying to switch to Coherence mode in Parallels but when I click the button to switch, nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong? Is the trial limited? I just want to know if it's just me or something to do with Vista before I buy Parallels.

install the parallels tools.
