Can't turn of automatic search for update

Why does the "checking for updates" keep popping up regularly even though I've turned it off ? I hate when things pops up all the time and want to do this manually.

Hello,

Please follow the below mentioned steps.

1. Open Finder.
2. Navigate Mac HD => Users => User name => Library => Preference => com.parallels.plist
3. Delete all the files that has the com.parallels extension.

Now, check if you are receiving the message or not.
