Can't update WinXp from WinUpdate

Hi, in VM of Xp, no service pack, I want to update Xp to several fixes as SP2 :D

My internet connection is running correctly, I can see all web sites, but the windows upgrade doesn't work.

Why?
 
*puts on joking voice* Although, knowing M$, you go to download either SP1 or SP2 and they tell you 'sorry, updates unly allowed from SP1 or above...'
