Case issues in XP SP3

I have a Bootcamp partition.. which seemed to be working okay (even though accessing HFS+ partitions is slow)... but today when I opened XP my case was all screwy -- I used the Shift modifier and it wouldn't type in Uppercase and CAPS LOCK wasn't doing anything.

Par. Tools are installed okay and a reboot fixed it.. but decided to write a post so it's logged.
