I have Parallels 7 setup to use the Mac for email. On my Mac I have both Outlook 2011 and Sparrow mail clients. I have to be able to view .EML files from my Windows 7 VM and every time I open them, Outlook 2011 opens even though Sparrow is my default mail client on OSX. I actually don't use Outlook 2011 any more and may even remove it but I can't seem to get my Windows 7 VM to use Sparrow. On OSX, if I open a .EML file it uses Sparrow and they open correctly.
I tried to change the program associated with .EML files in Windows 7 but Sparrow does not show up listed under the Mac programs. I have reinstalled Parallel tools but Sparrow is still not showing up as an available Mac program in Windows 7. Any ideas on how to get this working?
