It seems like when I upgrade to a new version, I start having this issue. I went to V14 because it was supposed to be FASTER. Now I am getting long delays in starting up.

When Parallels starts, it wants to check for new software and then says it is initializing. This is done EVERY TIME. I turned off what I thought was the setting to check for updates. But it still does it. How can I turn this off?

    Hi MarkPompey,
Let us know if you have two hard disks on your Mac. Also, let us know if you have User accounts on one drive and macOS on another.
