Clipboard corruption

Since upgrading to 4.0, text copied in Windows and pasted into some Mac OS applications (Entourage and BBEdit, for example) appears as Japanese characters. Viewing the Mac clipboard shows the Japanese characters, too. Pasting into Firefox, however, shows the correct characters.

Ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,
Mark

Running Parallels 4.0.3522 with Vista Business on a MacBook Pro running 10.5.5.

I have more information on this problem. It happens only when the Mac utility Butler is running. It has a multiple clipboards feature. It worked fine with Parallels 3. I'll also report this to them.

Here's an example of the problem: WASHINGTON copied from Windows becomes 䅗䡓义呇乏 in Mac OS.

butler not the issue

I don't even have butler installed and my clipboard is going crazy. Any thing I copy in PowerPoint is fine once and then it get's disabled. I can copy from Word to PPT fine, but the moment I copy from PPT, it all breaks. The only work around I found so far is to log off everytime!!!!! What a waste of time.
