Clipboard synchnization works only in one way

If I select something in my XP and copy it with ctrl-c it will not end up in the parallels clipboard (if I look at the parallels tools I do not see the content in the window).
The other way round: I select something in a Mac window then I see it instantly in the clipboard and can past it in a windows app!!

Any ideas?

interstingly, if i copy something in parallels, the first time, i can paste it to an OSX no problems, but if i copy something else and try to paste it to osx, it only pastes the first copy again.... quite strange...

I'm not having any problems with the clipboard in either direction.
